Ouya – Android game console for just $99

OuyaOuya is an open source concept game console, which promise to bring on the market something new and different.

There are two big news from Ouya, one for gamers and one for “creators”. The first good news is the promise that all the apps will be free to download, and the second one is that the platform will be easy to access so that the game developers to be able to create what they desire without any risks (no more licensing fees, retail fees, and publishing fees).

And this is not all, they also give hardware hackers the free hand to modify the components inside the box.

You can preorder the console on their official website, www.ouya.tv, the total with shipping it’s $109 for USA and $119 for international. Also you can buy extra controllers for $30 each.

The official announcement of the Game was made on 25 October 2011, and the first trailer that was unveiled on 2 November 2011. The second trailer for GTA V was announced this month on 5 November, and it have been released on 14 November.

The actual game is set to be released in the spring of 2013.
