Huawei is preparing to lunch a new device. The phone will have a 4.3 inch display, a 5 MP camera and a VGA front camera, 1.2 GHz CPU, 2000 mAh battery with removal cover and NFC.
The actual phone name will be Huawei Ascend W1 and they will probably officially present the phone at CES 2013.
Most likely this new device will be sold only in Asia. Huawei did start to collaborate with T-Mobile US, where they placed few Android phones, but probably nothing more than that will happen. Why the US market will not be open for them, mostly because of the bad reputation of the company, which apparently has connections with the Chinese military, and also the word “spy” was used.
Some photos of the W1 were posted on twitter, but the specific twit was deleted moments later.
