Acer C7 – only $199

The C7 Chromebook comes with an Intel dual-core Celeron 847, 2GB DDR3 RAM, a 320 GB hard drive, and with 100 GB free storage on the Google’s drive cloud for two years.

The screen has 11.6 inch and a  1366×768 pixel display resolution. C7 weight 3 lbs and the battery life is 3.5 hours, but it will actually resist for 2.5 hours, depending of your settings – this is a lot lower than every tablet that it’s on the market.

You get a dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and  Ethernet networking support, three 2.0 USB ports, one VGA port, one HDI port, 2 in 1 card reader supporting: SD Card and MMC, and an HD camera.

Don’t confuse this with a laptop, you will only be able to do basic stuff on this, like web-surf, email, web-documents, or even edit offline documents. You can also download movies, music files, pictures, and of course to play them.

This device is focused more for those people who just surf the internet and don’t like the idea of a tablet.

All put together, don’t get too exited about this, because you kind of get what you pay for.
