Top three phones with the greatest battery life

Battery life

How do you spend most of the time using you’re smart phone? If you find yourself constantly with a low or depleted battery, then check out this list for the top three phones on the market with the greatest battery life.
Number one is the Motorola RAZR MAXX. It has a 3300 mAh battery lasting 21h and 18 minutes of talking time, 9 hours of web surfing and 16 hours and 35 minutes of playing videos.

The second phone on the list is Samsung’s Galaxy Note II N7100 – the 3100 mAh battery offers you 17 hours of talking time, 8 hours and 48 minutes of web surfing and 11 hours and 27 minutes of video playing.

Finally we have the third best phone in terms of battery as the HTC One X+. It is not only equipped with a fast processor, but a pretty good battery pack at 2100 mAh. This confers a talking time of 13 hours and 31 minutes, 8 hours of web surfing, and 11 hours and 27 minutes of video playing.

It is not expected for the HTC One X+ to stay much longer on this list as the third place will soon be taken by the new Samsung Galaxy S4 which will have a 2600 mAh battery.

Why Apple and not Samsung

there's iPhoneGreat features were presented for the new Samsung Galaxy S4: 5inch screen, 441 pixels per inch, 1080p display, quad-core 1.9 GHz processor, 13 MP camera (basically everything that they needed to be better than iPhone 5).

Apple created a special web page where they list the motives that people should still choose the iPhone 5 over Samsung.

So if you’re wondering what these reasons are… Here you go:

1. iPhone received 8 consecutive J.D.Power prizes for client satisfaction. – The performance, design, characteristics, but also how easy is to do an operation
2. Just iPhone and other Apple products have a Retina display
3. iPhone has a battery that last longer, up to 8 hours of talking time
4. iPhone comes with ultra fast Wireless and LTE
5. iPhone is the only device that comes with Siri, an intelligent personal assistant
6. The A6 chip is very powerful and it doesn’t affect at all the battery life.
7. iSight camera is the most popular photo camera in the world
8. iOS 6 is the most advanced Operating System in the World for mobile platforms

What do you think? Are this reasons good enough to stay with iPhone, or the S4 is to tempting?

SIII will look like SIV

Tony Stark technologyIs it worth spending some extra cash on the Samsung Galaxy S4 based on the features presented at its big launch in New York a few days ago? My take is that if you’re satisfied with the one you have now, you should keep it. It is key to point out that big improvements were not made and the S3’s processor can support the new S4’s .

The S3’s performance is good enough and in fact still quite impressive- why not admit that around 90% of its users won’t tap into its full potential? On top of this a new software update will soon enable all the UI features from the new model (i.e. dual cameral video calling).

Facebook Hashtags

facebook hashtagsFacebook has announced that they will soon introduce the well known hashtag to its users.
Hashtags are basically a way of connecting ideas users are posting about together through the use of a # after certain key words. So far the most well known social media to use hashtags has been Twitter. Others like Vine, Google Plus and Instagram followed suit. When Twitter first started using them, it was kind of unique. Now this distinctiveness will be further eroded as Facebook plans to introduce a similar feature to help its users more easily find what they are searching for…
Introducing this service, Facebook would seem to further threaten Twitter’s existence. One may say that nothing will happen to the Twitter audience as Google Plus and Instagram have long been using it now. The fact is though, that Facebook has millions of users unlike these other two, which can be used to influence Twitter’s activity. Overall this appears to be another small step towards Twitter’s demise at the hands of the social media giant.

Twitter has also announced a new service, Twitter Music, which will be available on all iOS devices. This service will allow users to follow their favourite artists and songs, while making recommendations to friends.
